The Six Lines — Changing Line Oracles

Line 1 (Yang — solid) — Bottom

You let your magic tortoise go, and look at me with the corners of your mouth drooping. Misfortune. Abandoning your inner oracle to envy others.

Line 2 (Yin — broken)

Turning to the summit for nourishment. Deviating from the path to seek nourishment from the hill. Continuing brings misfortune. Seeking sustenance from wrong sources.

Line 3 (Yin — broken)

Turning away from nourishment. Perseverance brings misfortune. For ten years do not act. Nothing furthers. Rejecting proper input — starving the system of valid data.

Line 4 (Yin — broken)

Turning to the summit for nourishment brings good fortune. Spying about with sharp eyes like a tiger with insatiable craving. No blame. Hungry for knowledge with fierce focus.

Line 5 (Yin — broken)

Turning away from the path. To remain persevering brings good fortune. One should not cross the great water. Following unconventional nourishment works, but don't overextend.

Line 6 (Yang — solid) — Top

The source of nourishment. Awareness of danger brings good fortune. It furthers to cross the great water. You are the source — others feed from your output. Handle with care.
