The Oracle Speaks

Thunder and lightning — clarity and movement combined. Abundance. Success. The king attains abundance. Be not sad; be like the sun at midday. The system at peak performance. But know that the sun at zenith begins its descent. Don't mourn the passing of the peak while you're at the peak. Be fully present. Illuminate everything. The metrics dashboard shows all green.

The Six Lines — Changing Line Oracles

When a line is “changing” (old yin or old yang), its oracle activates. These texts reveal the specific mutation occurring at that position in the hexagram.

Line 1 (Yang — solid) — Bottom

When a man meets his destined ruler, they can be together ten days without blame. Going is recognized. The perfect partnership at the perfect time.

Line 2 (Yin — broken)

The curtain is of such fullness that the polestars can be seen at noon. Through going, one meets with mistrust and hate. If one rouses him through truth, good fortune comes. Abundance so great it obscures the sun — reveal the truth within the plenty.

Line 3 (Yang — solid)

The underbrush is of such abundance that the small stars can be seen at noon. He breaks his right arm. No blame. Abundance overwhelms, disabling the dominant hand. Accept the limitation.

Line 4 (Yang — solid)

The curtain is of such fullness that the polestars can be seen at noon. He meets his ruler, who is of like kind. Good fortune. At peak abundance, finding the peer who matches your level.

Line 5 (Yin — broken)

Lines are coming. Blessing and fame draw near. Good fortune. The recognition arrives — accept it gracefully.

Line 6 (Yin — broken) — Top

His house is in a state of abundance. He screens off his family. He peers through the gate and no longer perceives anyone. For three years he sees nothing. Misfortune. Abundance that isolates — golden cage syndrome.
